On Saturday 13th April the new Oxford Rugby League Club will make their home debut in Championship 1 when they welcome South Wales Scorpions to Iffley Road their home ground, kick off 2.30pm. This will not be the first time rugby league has been played at Iffley Road, with the University Club having already played here on a few occasions, but it will be the first time the semi-professional game has been played at the historic ground. Oxford made their debut in the competition two weeks ago at Gloucester when they recorded a confidence inspiring 40 point to 30 win to hit the ground running. However, last Sunday they were brought down to earth a little when they travelled to play Halifax in the 3rd round of the Challenge Cup and lost by 54 points to 12, although they performed well against a team who sit on top of the division above!
Gates open at 12noon and entry prices are as follows:
Adults £12, concessions £6, juniors £5 and under 7’s £1.
There is limited car parking available at the ground for £10 per car on a first come first serve basis. For alternatives please visit the Contact Us section of our website.
