A strong Greyhounds squad will face Old Alleyanians at Iffley Road on Saturday 19th October, kick off 3.00pm. A number of players are still pushing hard for Blues selection, with eight players included from the side that ran the Dragons close on Tuesday night. The side will look to build upon their comfortable win against Oxford Brookes two weeks ago, but will face a much sterner test from the Dulwich Old Boys team who include a number of faces very familiar to OURFC supporters. The pack includes Peter Wright won two Blues in 2009 and 2010, his older brother Jonny who lead the U21’s to Varsity victory in 2005, plus Tom Chambers who represented the Whippets, U21’s and Greyhounds in successful Varsity campaigns. Arguably the backs boast even more talent with three former Blues represented, Charlie Marr the most recent with wins in 2010 & 2012, Rhodri James who played in 2009 and finally but by no means least Jonan Boto who gained four Blues for rugby in 2004, 2005, 2006 & 2007 plus an athletics Blue too. Entry to this match is free.
