The Croatian National team in action

On Saturday 5th April OURFC will play the Croatian National team at Iffley Road, kick off at 2pm. Despite this ‘bonus’ fixture being in the middle of the University Easter vacation, head coach James Wade is able to call upon ten Blues in the twenty-three man squad, unfortunately Captain Jacob Taylor (Keble) is in China on field work so will not be here to lead the side. The Blues side will therefore be a mixture of experience and youth, as Wade has a final opportunity to look at his players this season.
Croatia are currently ranked 56th in the world and are using this fixture as a warm-up for their final two European Nations 2A matches with the Netherlands and Lithuania later in the month. The majority of the Croatian players are students from the two major Universities in Zagreb and Split.
The gates and bars will be open from 12noon, with entry just £5 for adults and £2 for concessions (over 60’s, under 18’s and students). Please note the normal parking restrictions will apply for this match.

Squad:
Lewis Anderson, Harry Beale, Will Boardman, Oakley Cox, John Davidson, Henry de Berker, Edward Doe, Sam Dumigan, Samson Egerton, Michael Hannah, Henry Hughes, Gus Jones, Alex Koo, Alexander Macdonald, Graeme MacGilchrist, Julien Morlet, Tom Reeson-Price, Will Rowlands, James Scaiffe, Matthew Shorthose, Ben Symington, George Vaughan, James Wisson
