Blues Squad Announced For First Home Fixture

The Blues following their victory in St Petersburg

The Blues play their first home fixture of the season on Tuesday 30th September, when they welcome Henley Hawks to Iffley Road, who replace original opponents Newport Gwent Dragons, who pulled out due to an injury crisis. Captain Jacob Taylor, who is close to a return to action and Head Coach James Wade have been able to select a strong squad with twelve Blues in the starting XV and a further two on the bench. Back row forward Sam Peter is rested with a minor ankle strain, but he is replaced by England Students Captain George Messum. Kick off is at 7.30pm with gates open from 6.00pm. Entry is just £5 for adults and £2 for concessions (over 60’s, under 18’s & students).
