On Wednesday night, Iffley Road the home of OURFC, played host to perhaps the two best schoolboy sides in the country when Wellington took on MIllfield in their eagerly awaited annual encounter. The idea of playing this prestigious fixture in Oxford was the brainchild of former OURFC Captain Kevin Brennan, who is now the 1st XV coach at Wellington and also a house master. In the afternoon the schools respective U16 sides played at Christ Church College ground, with Wellington coming out on top, before they walked up the Iffley Road to support their older schoolmates. The match was played at a furious pace with total commitment from both teams, but it was Wellington who emerged victorious by 41 points to 27 to take the bragging rights for another year.
