Action from the reciprocal fixture in 2011

Captain Jacob Taylor and Head Coach James Wade have selected a strong squad to face Wasp at Iffley Road on Monday night, in what they have targeted as a key fixture in their season. The starting XV includes 12 Blues with another on the bench and they have been able to select from a position of relative strength with only four senior players currently unavailable with injury – hooker James Wisson (head), second row Fergus Taylor (groin), wing Henry Hughes (knee) and centre Sam Mason (ankle), hopefully all four will be back in action before too long. Wasps are expected to bring a strong side on Monday evening and a good crowd is expected to see some competitive rugby at the home of Oxford University Rugby. Both Captain and Coach will be looking for a step from last week’s heavy loss to Northampton, although a number of positives were taken from a much improved second half performance against a young but quality Saints outfit.

Kick off is at 7.15pm with gates and bars open from 6.00pm. Entry is just £5.00 for adults and £2.00 for concessions (over 60’s, under 18’s and students with ID). Please note that the normal parking restrictions apply, i.e. parking in the ground is restricted to permit holders only, for alternative places to park please visit the Contact Us section of this website.
