Gareth Davies, who won a Blue in the 1977 Varsity Match has been appointed as the new Chairman of the Welsh Rugby Union. He will leave his current position as CEO of the Newport Gwent Dragons and take up the WRU role, once they have measures in place to provide stability and continuity in the region.
