Will Rowlands in action for Wasps

OURFC players continuing to grab opportunities on leaving Oxford.

Chris Davies (St Edmund Hall) who won two Blues as an undergraduate in 2008 and 2009 and is now working in the City, but playing for Richmond FC in National 1, has been selected for the England Counties XV. The team will take on Scotland on Friday 27th February, kick off 1930 at Fylde’s Woodlands Memorial Ground, not far from where Chris grew up in Hale.

Will Rowlands (Pembroke) who two Blues as an undergraduate in 2012 and 2013 will start for Wasps on Saturday afternoon at Franklins Gardens, where they take on Northampton Saints in their final LV Cup pool match. Will signed a full-time contract with Wasps on the conclusion of his Oxford degree in July 2014.

Sam Egerton (Keble) who won three Blues as an undergraduate and one as a graduate – 2011, 2012, 2013 and 2014, including Man of the Match performances in 2012 and 2014 has signed for Championship Club Yorkshire Carnegie for the remainder of this season. Sam joins Cambridge Blue Fred Burden at the Leeds based club and will combine this exciting rugby opportunity whilst concluding his Historical Studies course at Oxford.
