Training at Pennyhill Park, under the watchful eye of Stuart Lancaster

On Thursday, for the third time in six years, the Blues squad had the opportunity to train with the full England squad at their highly impressive Pennyhill Park training base. The first invitation was in November 2009 from Martin Johnson, then last year thanks to Head Coach James Wades contacts, the squad spent a morning at Twickenham in February during the 2014 Six Nations in an unopposed session. On Thursday at Pennyhill Park, the session was semi-opposed with the Blues having the opportunity to both attack and defend against the England squad, who now enjoy a four day rest period before coming back into camp on Monday in preparation for their visit to Dublin for their next Six Nations encounter.

Captain George Messum, the coaching staff and the players would like to offer huge thanks to Stuart Lancaster and his coaching team for the invitation and would like to wish them every success not only for the remainder of the Six Nations but also looking ahead to the 2015 Rugby World Cup.
