The women’s rugby development day will take place on Sunday 3rd May 10am-1pm at the Iffley Road rugby ground. We are delighted to announce that the brand new coaching team of Gary Street, Ali Mortimore and Oakley Cox will be in attendance. Gary Street is the former highly successful England Women’s coach who led them to Six Nations and World Cup triumphs, Ali Mortimore has been the head coach for Henley women’s team for a number of years and Oakley Cox has been involved with the team for a couple of years now. In addition guest coaches, former England Women’s assistant coach Graham Smith and London Welsh coach Matt Ferguson will also be present. It’s the perfect opportunity for seasoned professionals, returning Blues, complete novices and slightly stressed finalists to come along and be (re)introduced to rugby.

There’s a BBQ, bouncy castle and giant games from 1pm after the rugby so there’s really no excuse not to come and bring friends along.

The men’s intercollegiate 7’s competition will take place in the afternoon, so plenty of opportunity to watch some exciting live rugby too.
