University of Cape Town Lift The World University Rugby Cup

UCT celebrate victory

The University of Cape Town ultimately proved too strong for Trinity College Dublin to lift the inaugural World University Rugby Cup at Iffley Road by 17 points to nil this afternoon.

Try scorers for UCT were 2nd row James Kilroe and a penalty try,  with two conversions and a penalty from full-back Paul Cohen.
