Blues Squad To Face Worcester Warriors

Centre Henry Lamont races clear to score against Worcester in 2013

For Tuesday nights encounter with Worcester Warriors, kick off 7.30pm, Captain George Messum and Head Coach James Wade have been able to select ten Blues in the starting line-up with a further three on the bench. Five times Blue Lewis Anderson makes his first appearance of the season following surgery, centre Matt Janney returns to the Blues squad after a run out with the Greyhounds last Monday, whilst recent arrival from Trinity College Dublin, Richie Halpin makes his first appearance for the club as replacement hooker. The Blues have lost the last two encounters between the sides, a high scoring game in 2013, 34 points to 25 and a low scoring one last year, 9 points to 5, so will be looking to address the balance this season.

The Jackdaw Lane gates and Pavilion bar will be open from 6.00pm with the Iffley Road gates open from 6.30pm. Entry is £5 for adults and £2 for concessions, please note parking in the ground is strictly for authorised personnel and permit holders only.
