The Blues welcome Bristol Rugby to ffley Road on Monday night for a key fixture in the build up to the 2015 Varsity Match; last year saw the west county team win a high scoring fixture at Clifton RFC by 34 points to 31, so the Blues will be looking to reverse that result this year. Following the encouraging victory over Croatia last Saturday Captain George Messum and Coach James Wade welcome back some players from injury and rest others as the continue to look at combinations and options. Back from injury are centre Matt Janney which means Henry Hughes can move out the wing and No 8 Fraser Heathcote which allows Messum a chance for some well-earned rest as he moves to the bench. Experienced prop Lewis Anderson sits out this week’s game, meaning Kieran Ball gets a chance to start alongside Irish hooker Richie Halpin.

Kick-off is 7.30pm with Pavilion bar open from 6.00pm. Because of the recent wet weather and the installation of the marquee for the Major Stanley’s Match, there will be very limited parking available in the ground, for alternatives please visit the Contact Us section of the website. Entry is £5 for adults and £2 for concessions.
