Former OURFC Player, Nick Wood, Breaks Appearance Record For Gloucester

Nick Wood who studied modern Languages at Brasenose College in the early 2000’s made his 274th club appearance and 200th Premiership appearance for Gloucester at Worcester Warriors last Saturday, and in doing so set two new club appearance records. Whilst at Oxford, Wood was very unlucky not to win a Blue, having represented the senior team on a number of occasions during his time at Oxford. However, he did play in three successful U21 Varsity Match campaigns and in doing so, joined only a handful of other OURFC players who were deemed to have earned a ‘Red’ by their fellow U21 representatives.
