The Kew Occasionals RFC, founded by former OURFC Team Secretary Reg Clark, enjoyed a highly successful tour to Japan in May where they won all three matches, including the Oku Memorial Match played in memory of Ambassador Katsu Oku who was tragically killed in Iraq in 2003. The Kew Occasionals tour party included a number of former OURFC players in addition to Reg including, James Boyle, Paddy Boyle, Chris Bucknall, Ross Swanson, Eric Gleave, Max Cole, Richie Healsip, Matt Honeyben, Charlie Marr, Roly McFall, John Purcell, Sam Waite, Tom Yusef and Dave Bucknall.

Congratulations to Double Blue Ross Swanson (2008/09) on his appointment as the new Kew Occasisonals Captain and we look forward to welcoming him and the Kews RFC to Iffley Road on Saturday 5th November when they take on the OU Greyhounds.
