The 135th Varsity Match is rapidly approaching and Captain Fergus Taylor and Coach James Wade have just two more matches to fine tune selection and implement the game plan they hope will allow the team to express themselves fully at Twickenham on Thursday 8th December. On Monday night they welcome their fourth Premiership opposition of the season to Iffley Road, in the form Worcester Warriors who in October last year secured a hard earned 36 points to 17 win. With players returning to fitness Taylor and Wade are able to select a starting XV including eleven Blues, with a further two on the bench plus two unused replacements from last year.
Another large crowd is expected at Iffley Road so please take note of the important information below, to ensure your visit to support the Blues is an enjoyable one.
The Jackdaw Lane gate and Pavilion bar will be open from 6.15pm and the Iffley Road gate at 6.30pm. Entry is £5 for adults and £3 for concessions (over 60’s, under 18’s & students). Please note the normal parking restrictions apply, with parking in the ground strictly for permit holders only, please visit the Contact Us section of the website for alternative places to park.
