Action from last year's encounter

The Men’s Blues play their first match at Iffley Road in 2017, when they host the Royal Navy on Wednesday evening, kick off 7.15pm. Captain Conor Kearns has been able to select eleven Blues in the starting XV with a further two on the bench. In February 2016 the Navy put together an impressive performance to win by 34 points to 5 in Portsmouth, so the Blues will be looking for a much improved result this year. At Aldershot in last week’s game against the Army there were encouraging signs, particularly in the first half and the squad will look to build on that showing on Wednesday night.

Another large crowd is expected at Iffley Road so please take note of the important information below, to ensure your visit to support the Blues is an enjoyable one.

The Jackdaw Lane gate and Pavilion bar will be open from 6.15pm and the Iffley Road gate at 6.30pm. Entry is £5 for adults and £3 for concessions (over 60’s, under 18’s & students). Please note the normal parking restrictions apply, with parking in the ground strictly for permit holders only, please visit the Contact Us section of the website for alternative places to park.
