OURFC would like to congratulate Women’s Blues prop Jenny Smith (St John’s), who made her debut off the bench for Harlequins Women’s team in a 34 points to 14 win against Worcester Valkyriess at Sixways Stadium on Sunday 19th February.

Jenny’s journey to this point has been nothing short of remarkable, having only taken up rugby last year as part of OURFC’s inaugural Women’s Cuppers competition, previously Jenny had gained Blues in netball. Jenny has been an ever present in the Women’s Blues squad this season and earned her first ‘rugby’ Blue in the 2016 Women’s Varsity Match at Twickenham in December where Oxford defeated Cambridge by 3 points to nil.
