Captain Conor Kearns has names his squad for the Men’s Blues first fixture in the UK after returning from their successful US tour last week. With Gloucester unfortunately pulling out if a visit to Iffley Road, the squad will travel to Richmond on Tuesday night for a 1945 KO at the Athletic Ground when they will look to maintain their winning start to the season. Selection for this fixture was made more difficult following the Greyhounds/Whippets preseason training camp last week, with a number of players pressing their claims for inclusion in the Trail game against Oxford Brookes on Friday afternoon. There are just five Blues in the starting XV with a further two on the bench, reflecting the ‘freshness’ of this year’s Blues squad.
