On Wednesday night at Iffley Road, the Men’s Blues started 2018 with a training session with the Canadian National squad, as the ‘Cannucks’  continue preparations for their Double-Header 2019 World Cup qualifier against Uruguay. Despite a frost the night before, a sunny afternoon meant the pitch was dry but firm and both teams got a huge amount out of the session, overseen by coaches Kingsley-Jones (Canada) and James Wade (Oxford), who became friends during their time together at Sale Sharks in the mid 2000’s.

OURFC would like to thank Canada for including this visit to Oxford as part of their preparations and wish them all the best for their two forthcoming fixtures.
