The Greyhounds season concluded with a comprehensive victory over visiting Japanese touring side Gakushi Rugger 113 points to 10,  but despite the scoreline the match was played in great spirit with no quarter asked or given. On the day the Greyhounds just proved to strong in all departments for their much smaller opponents, but the Japanese battled for the full 80 minutes and were fully deserving of their two tries. Prior to this fixture an Oxfordshire Over 50’s side beat the Gakushi Over 50’s in an entertaining match by 32 points to 15.
