Men’s Blues Captain Dom Waldouck has announced the tour party to travel to Madagascar on Tuesday morning, which includes a mix of youth and experience, but as always some of the more experienced players are unable to travel due to their academic commitments. However, the party includes 5 Blues and 9 who played in the Greyhounds Varsity victory last December. The squad will play two ‘Test Matches’ against the Malagasy National team in Antananarivo on Sunday 16th and Sunday 23rd September.

Those not selected or were unable to travel, will continue to work ahead back at home and in Oxford for a second preseason training camp, Tuesday 18th to Friday 21st September, as they will look to push for selection for the firs home fixtures on Monday 1st October, a Double Header with the Greyhounds playing an Army Academy XV, followed by the Blues hosting the touring Eastern Suburbs team from Sydney, a great way to kick off the season at Iffley Road.

Please keep an eye on the website for ‘Player Diary’ updates.
