The Men’s Blues played their final match before heading to Twickenham when they hosted a strong Richmond team at Iffley Road on Saturday afternoon, with the visitors winning an entertaining encounter by 33 points to 14.

With the scores tied at 14 points all at half-time, Oxford made a number of changes at the interval and the visitors took full advantage to run in three unanswered tries in the second period to create perhaps a flattering final scoreline.
