At Iffley Road on Friday night, the Blues eventually wore down a stubborn Greyhound team to run out victors by 31 points to nil. At half-time the score was just 7 nil, with the Greyhounds giving the Blues plenty of food for thought and with a little more accuracy would have scored themselves. It wasn’t until the final quarter when the Blues strength began to tell as they added a further four tries to create a rather flattering margin. The Blues will have plenty to work on in the next seven days as they prepare for the visit from the Army, whilst the Greyhounds can take heart from a performance that reflects the depth of talent within the men’s section of OURFC.
