On Friday night the Men’s Blues welcome traditional opponents Trinity College, Dublin to Iffley Road for their penultimate fixture before Varsity, kick-off 7.15pm. Following last week’s exciting 40 points all draw with the Major Stanley’s XV, the Blues face their first university opponents since September when they faced four different student sides in Japan at the 2019 World Universities Invitational Tournament. Last season the Blues secured a positive 55 points to 14 win away at College Park, and will look to get a second consecutive victory on Friday night, but the Irish students will be stern opposition as always, as they enjoy a break from All Ireland league action.

With a little under three weeks to go to Varsity, Captain Ed David and Coach James Wade will be looking at combinations coming together as they complete preparations for the big day.

The Jackdaw Lane gate and Pavilion bar will be open from 6.00pm and the Iffley Road gate at 6.30pm. Entry is £5 for adults, £3 for concessions. Please note parking in the ground is strictly for permit holders only, please visit the Contact Us section of the website for alternative places to park.
