The OURFC Women’s 2nd XV, the Panthers, travelled to Grange Road this morning looking to retain their Varsity trophy won back in March 2020 at Iffley Road and thus secure three successive wins. After just five weeks preparation and no warm-up matches, Captain Imogen Kilcoyne and her squad put in a performance to be immensely proud in the Fens to run out 22 points to 10 winners. The Dark Blues scored four tries from Sarah Haynes, Ailsa Clark and Milly Cohen with a brace, whilst Maddy Tung added one conversion.

Attention now turns to the Men’s 2nd XV, the Greyhounds, as they also travel to Grange Road this Wednesday 30th June, KO 3pm as they look to replicate the Panthers success and also make it three Varsity wins in a row.
