On Wednesday morning, a beautiful sunny OURFC paid host to the 2022 Chairman’s Cup, which was making a welcome return for the first time since 2019 with seventeen local Oxford primary schools taking part in a Tag Rugby Festival. The event coordinated by Oxford City Council School Sport and Physical Activity Officer Margaret Stevens, was supported by referees from the OURFC Society and  players from the Wasps Academy. More than 200 boys and girls enjoyed being able to run out on the famous Iffley Road ground, hopefully inspiring one or two to pursue the opportunity to apply to Oxford University in the future and represent the Dark Blues in years to come.
